This is a great little organizer. Every month I wonder how our Un-Tutorials project is going to turn out I sometimes doubt a tiny bitand then every month you make me sew something awesome, lol! So here is the tutorial for our Handy Purse Organizer that you smartphone purse pattern for me to make.

Pin the interior side with the finished zipper pocket to the back of the stabilizer piece from step 7 above. Wrap a piece of binding around the curved edge at the top of each side. Pin in place.

Check to make sure the binding is stitched down on both sides. Note: this smartphone purse pattern a 1-step method for applying binding. For the rest of the tutorial I will show a 2-step method that takes longer, but doesn't take the chance of not sewing both sides like the 1-step method. Clip to the basting stitches, don't stress if you clip through them, smartphone purse pattern. Repeat around each mark. These clips will help the strip fit around the corners. The marks on the pattern pieces show the middle of each corner.

Transfer these marks to the side pieces. Place the boxing strip against one of the side pieces, with the lining sides together. It will be a tight fit because the strip matches the side at the stitching linenot along the cut edge. The clips in the boxing strip should spread wide and help you ease around the corners.
